Tulane University’s women’s tennis team defeated Murray State by a score of 4-0 on March 18 at the City Park Tennis Center in New Orleans. The Green Wave improved their season record to 8-8, while the Racers dropped to 2-7.

The match saw Tulane secure the doubles point with Campbell Ricci and Summer Chandler winning 6-2 at No. 1 doubles, and Natalia Fantini and Diana Badalyan clinching the point with a 6-4 victory at No. 3 doubles. In singles play, Ricci and Chandler won their matches at the top two spots, while Fantini earned her seventh consecutive singles win at No. 5.

Several other matches were left unfinished as Tulane reached four points first, ending the contest under college tennis rules. The team’s next match is scheduled for Thursday against UNO at Goldring Tennis Center, with coverage available on ESPN+.

The results reflect Tulane’s continued efforts to improve its standing this season as it prepares for upcoming conference play.
