Tulane women’s tennis to face FIU and Florida Atlantic in weekend matches

Tulane University’s women’s tennis team will travel to Florida this weekend for matches against Florida International University and Florida Atlantic University, according to an April 1 announcement.

The trip begins with a match against the FIU Panthers, who have a record of 7-8, on Thursday at noon. FIU recently secured a 4-0 victory over Austin Peay. Tulane, holding a season record of 9-8, is coming off its own 4-0 win against local rival UNO.

On Saturday at 11 a.m., Tulane will compete against the FAU Owls, who currently have a record of 6-8. The Owls feature doubles partners Panna Bartha and Katrin Pavkova, ranked No. 68 nationally with an 11-4 season record. Tulane’s Summer Chandler and Campbell Ricci are also nationally ranked in doubles at No. 72 with a current record of six wins and one loss.
