On Saturday, Nov. 29, the Benedict Tigers, featuring former Warren Easton High School standout Jahmal Sam, fell 14-12 to the Albany State Golden Rams in the NCAA Division II Football Championship.

The contest was held at ASU Coliseum at 1 p.m. and marked the second tournament meeting between the Benedict Tigers and the Albany State Golden Rams.
