Sofie Groeninger is currently ninth after four events in the women’s heptathlon at College Station’s invitational meet. Her highlight was winning shot put with a significant margin over competitors. The competition continues tomorrow with three more events.

Tulane men’s tennis ended its season after falling to Rice University at the American Conference Championships on April 17. Daniel Phillips earned Tulane’s only point during singles play while Rice secured both doubles victories.
