Tulane athletes earned gold and bronze medals on day two of the American Outdoor Track & Field Championships as Silas Kiptanui repeated his victory in men’s steeplechase while Petra Dos Santos claimed third place for women. The team remains competitive heading into final events.

Three New Orleans Privateers athletes have qualified for additional Southland Championship finals following strong performances Friday evening at Homer Bryce Stadium. The team will compete across six final events Saturday night, continuing their presence at this year’s championships.
