The NOPD is seeking assisting with locating a person of interest for questioning in the ongoing investigation of a hit-and-run crash with injury that occurred on June 17, 2023, at the intersection of Saint Charles Avenue and Perdido Street.
At approximately 12:04 a.m. on June 17, the victim was traveling westbound on Perdido St. in the left travel lane on her tricycle near the intersection with Perdido Street when she was struck from the rear. The suspect vehicle fled in a westbound direction on Saint Charles Avenue and then unknown. The victim was transported to a local hospital, where she was treated for multiple injuries sustained in the crash.
The suspect vehicle was described as a 2020 Chevy Trax, possibly black in color. The vehicle was found to be registered to Angelique Drummer (pictured, black female, DOB: 01-04-1990), who has been identified as a person of interest and is sought for questioning in this investigation.
