Congressman Troy A. Carter, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing Louisiana's 2nd District since 2021, shared several updates through his social media posts on November 20 and 21, 2024. His messages covered topics ranging from sustainable aviation fuel initiatives to homelessness awareness and rural healthcare access.

On November 20, Congressman Carter announced his involvement in introducing the bipartisan Sustainable Aviation Fuel Information Act alongside Representative Mike Flood. He stated, "Earlier this year, I proudly introduced the bipartisan Sustainable Aviation Fuel Information Act with @USRepMikeFlood and helped establish the Congressional #SustainableAviation Caucus. I will continue working to position #Louisiana as a leader in #GreenEnergy development."

Later that day, Congressman Carter highlighted his commitment to raising awareness about youth homelessness by participating in an event organized by Covenant House New Orleans. He mentioned, "Tomorrow, I’m giving up my bed and sleeping out with @CovenantHouseNO to raise awareness about the needs of youth experiencing homelessness in our city. I’m grateful for the opportunity to work with this incredible organization and help provide resources for our most vulnerable."

On November 21, marking Rural Health Day, Congressman Carter addressed healthcare challenges faced by rural communities. He affirmed his dedication to improving health outcomes by stating, "This #RuralHealthDay, we acknowledge the healthcare access challenges facing rural and remote communities. I remain committed to increasing access to care, advocating for #CleanAir and #CleanWater, and supporting bipartisan efforts to improve health outcomes for patients in #LA02."
