NEW ORLEANS — The City of New Orleans today announced that beginning Monday, Feb. 19 at 8 a.m., the Department of Public Works (DPW) will permit the closure of the river-bound side of South Diamond Street between South Peters Street and Fulton Street.
Construction crews will be working on crane placement to perform cell phone infrastructure work around the parking structure area at 901 Convention Center Boulevard. Public safety is our top priority; signage and traffic control measures will be in place throughout the closure. The area is scheduled to reopen to traffic on Wednesday, Feb. 21 by 5 p.m.
