In greater New Orleans, the average price is $2.2 and the lowest price is $1.91. Trends show the price as stable.

The average price of unleaded gas in the state is $2.417 per gallon. The previous week, the state average was $2.463 per gallon. The average has increased since last month, when it was $2.405 per gallon – a 1.2 cent difference.

Last year, the average price for a gallon of gas was $2.412.
