Census Bureau: More women than men in Orleans Parish in 2019

Of the 390,845 people living in Orleans Parish in 2019, 52.5 percent (205,332) were women and 47.5 percent (185,513) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Nola Reporter.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by a ratio of 134,928-to-122,131. In the 65 and over age range, there were 31,626 females and 23,655 males.
