D. Parker Moring, Jr. of Valbridge Property Advisors l South Louisiana has earned the prestigious MAI designation* from the Appraisal Institute, signifying his high level of experience in the evaluation of commercial real estate. Upon receiving this designation, Valbridge Property Advisors | South Louisiana is proud to welcome Parker as a Partner and Senior Managing Director.
 

After earning a B.A. in History and Spanish in 2000 from the Hampden Sydney College, Parker received his M.B.A. in 2007 from the Universidad Austral in Buenos Aires. He then worked four years abroad in Mexico and Egypt for Tidewater Marine, Inc., before joining our firm in 2013, where he has already accumulated a decade of appraisal experience.

 

Parker is an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoys spending time with his wife and three children and traveling abroad. He was recently honored at a reception of clients, colleagues, family, and friends at Ralph’s on the Park in mid-city New Orleans.

 

*The MAI designation is achieved upon the successful completion of a graduate-level curriculum that includes a comprehensive exam, successful presentation of a demonstration report, and 4,500 hours of qualifying experience.  Designees must abide by both the appraisal profession’s Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) and the Appraisal Institute’s Standards of Professional Practice and Code of Ethics.
