The NOPD has arrested two subjects reportedly found to be in possession of multiple stolen vehicles.
On December 22, 2023, Fifth District Officers responded to a suspicious person call in the 2000 block of Annette Street. Upon arrival, officers observed two subjects actively stripping a vehicle that was listed as stolen.
Officers apprehended Enrique Gexel Madrid Ortega (Hispanic Male, DOB: 12/12/1999) and Hector Manuel Posas Rivera (Hispanic Male, DOB: 5/26/1989) and discovered four other vehicles listed as stolen at the location.
Both subjects were booked with multiple counts of possession of stolen property.

All persons are presumed to be innocent until proven guilty.
