Devin Juneau, a 38-year-old resident of Slidell, Louisiana, was sentenced to time served on November 7, 2024. This decision came after he pled guilty to manufacturing and dealing in explosive materials without a license. The sentencing was carried out by U.S. District Judge Susie Morgan.

Court documents reveal that on February 6, 2024, Juneau manufactured and sold M-Type explosive devices containing explosive materials to undercover agents. He did so without possessing the necessary license for such activities.

This case is part of Project Safe Neighborhoods (PSN), an initiative designed to reduce violent crime and gun violence by uniting law enforcement at all levels with community efforts. The program aims to enhance neighborhood safety through trust-building, supporting community-based violence prevention organizations, setting strategic enforcement priorities, and evaluating outcomes.

U.S. Attorney Duane A. Evans commended the work of the United States Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) in this case. Assistant United States Attorney Troy Bell from the Violent Crimes Unit is handling the prosecution.
