Congressman Troy A. Carter, representing Louisiana's 2nd district in the U.S. Congress, has recently expressed his views on social media regarding significant issues affecting healthcare and veterans, as well as paying tribute to a notable figure from Louisiana's history.

On March 10, 2025, Congressman Carter highlighted the potential impact of Medicaid cuts on various demographics. He stated: “Think Medicaid cuts won’t impact you or your family?
