Join the Conversation: Apply for the Bryan Bell Metropolitan Leadership Forum
NEW ORLEANS - For more than 50 years, the Committee for a Better New Orleans’ signature Bryan Bell Metropolitan Leadership Forum has been educating emerging leaders about the City of New Orleans and empowering them with the knowledge, network and skills they need to lead change. After a two year hiatus due to COVID-19, the Forum is returning with a fresh approach in 2022! We are redefining professionalism, leadership, and success: and all that begins with you.
The deadline to apply for the Forum is Sept 5th, and sessions begin Sept 21.
For details and to apply, visit www.cbno.org/forum.
The eight-session program features a “deep dive” into the City’s assets and challenges, from the justice system to living with water, to balancing the needs of residents, transplants and visitors in economic and community development. Each session will feature presentations by a panel of experts in various fields, followed by dinner and a Q+A session. Additionally, a bus tour of the city will introduce participants to areas where there are deep cultural roots, architectural and historical highlights, and innovative projects that can help solve complex problems. To conclude the program and leave our new leaders on a positive note, we invite participants to join us on a final retreat to put knowledge into action.
“Tomorrow’s leaders need to be bold, inclusive and creative,” said Nellie, CBNO’s Executive Director,. “They need to be prepared to address the many interconnected issues that impact our community. Solving the problems will require an eye on equity, and educated and eager community leaders. That’s what the Forum is really about. We’re helping leaders lead to build a better future for everyone.”
