Enrollment Analysis: Hispanic students comprised 17.1% of New Orleans Center for Creative Arts School District’s student body in 2021-22 school year

There were 39 Hispanic students enrolled in New Orleans Center for Creative Arts School District schools in the 2021-22 school year, 18.2% more than the previous year, according to the Louisiana Department of Education.

Data showed that New Orleans Center for Creative Arts School District welcomed 228 students during the 2021-22 school year. Among them, Hispanic students comprised 17.1% of the student body to be the third most represented ethnicity in the district.

New Orleans Center for Creative Arts School District roughly covers schools within Orleans Parish and has a main office in New Orleans.

New Orleans Center for Creative Arts was the only school in the district which enrolled Hispanic students, welcoming 39 students in the 2021-22 school year.

The majority of Louisiana students were identified as white and Black, representing 48% and 37% of the state student body respectively during the 2021–22 academic year. Hispanic students made up 8.6% of the student body, and other ethnic minorities made up 5.6%.

In 2022, there was roughly one teacher for every 18 students, compared to the national average of 1:16.
