35 percent of applicants to the University of Holy Cross were admitted for fall 2018

At the University of Holy Cross, 47 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 82 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in New Orleans enrolled 1,255 students in fall 2018, including 923 in undergraduate and 332 in graduate programs, data shows. 10.8 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

98 percent of undergraduates are residents of Louisiana, and 2 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (46 percent) and Black or African American (29 percent).

The school admitted 35 percent of the 2,060 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 16 percent enrolled.
