Cost of college went up for all students at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary

Tuition and fees rose 7.2 percent for 2018-19 at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Louisiana students paid $8,620 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $580 more than the $8,040 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 77 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 12 students received grants or scholarships totaling $14,527 and 8 students took out student loans totaling more than $32,092.

Including all undergraduates (2,112), 153 students used grants or scholarships totaling $100,927.
