Lusher Charter School had the highest enrollment among Orleans Parish schools, welcoming 1,897 students during the 2021-22 school year, according to the Louisiana Department of Education.

Out of the total students welcomed in the 2021-22 school year, 50.3% of them were girls, and 49.7% were boys.

Data also showed that most of the students were white, representing 58.7% of Lusher Charter School's total enrollment.

Among the 39 schools in the Orleans Parish, International School of Louisiana ranked second in enrollment numbers with 1,167 students, while Edna Karr High School welcomed 1,075 students to be ranked third in the 2021-22 school year.

In the previous school year, Lusher Charter School still had the highest number of students among Orleans Parish schools.
